A.B.R.S.M. (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music)

We have sessions here at The Music Place three times a year. The Board offers a scheme of examinations suitable for candidates at different stages of ability in most instruments and voice. We also teach the new Jazz Piano syllabus.

I.C.M.A. (Independent Contemporary Music Awards)

The ICMA offers a more contemporary style of music examination. As well as traditional instruments, they hold examinations in keyboard, music technology, contemporary vocals, rock guitar and kit drumming. We hold ICMA sessions here at The Music Place at least once a year.
