The Music Place is now in its 15th year.

When it first opened, there were 7 teachers and less than 50 students at the school. Lucy now has 35 members of staff teaching over 550 students!

Before Lucy arrived and set up the Music Place, the building used to be an accountant's office - she had to make a lot of changes to the decor!

Mark Jones, our previous guitar teacher went on to be the sound engineer for Peter Gabriel.

The Music Place's first singing teacher, Sheila Gott was the voice coach for Take That and also the voice of the Danger Mouse theme tune.

Ex student Raquelle Gracie reached the semi finals of X Factor as a member of girl band, 'Hope'.

Jon Thorne, our previous bass/guitar teacher is a member of Lamb and has worked with Danny Thompson and Donovan.
