Rosie started her music career in Somerset, performing piano and vocals and composing for original theatre shows. Rosie started running music and drama workshops very early on in her career and in 1994 she moved to Manchester to study performance and singing at Salford University. In 1997, she was commissioned to write a composition for members of the Halle Orchestra, resulting in media coverage and a performance at the Bridgewater Hall.
From 1997 to 2008, Rosie's focus became education which led to her co-ordinating the National Diploma in Music Practice, as well as being a main-grade lecturer. Rosie also has experience in teaching students with learning difficulties and working with English Speakers of Other Languages.
Outside of teaching, Rosie has done outreach projects in under-privileged areas and has also worked extensively as a freelance singer.
