It’s shaping up to be a very busy December for us here at The Music Place so here are some dates for the diary- come along and catch our students getting their festive on!
This Saturday, we’re kicking off a very busy December by running a special Christmas Singalong at Altrincham’s lantern parade! The parade will begin from Goose Green at 4pm and meander through the town centre, ending in Stamford Square for our singalong finale at 4:45pm! It’s going to be fun for all the family so don’t miss it!
We really enjoyed the performances of our singers at last year’s ‘Twilight Markets’, so we’re really pleased to be back at Altrincham Market again this December. On 14th and 15th, twenty-three of our wonderful singing students will take to the stage o’straw for what is certain to be a great showcase for our fantastic singers! You can also catch The Music Place Choir on the steps of Market house on 15th December at 6:30pm.
Not to worry if you can’t catch our fabulous choir at Altrincham Market as only one day later (they do have some stamina) is our annual Christmas Choir Cracker at The Cinnamon Club! Come join us at 2pm for some Christmas tunes! Also on 16th December (talk about a full calendar), our wonderful bands will be taking on some Christmas classics atBand Night! Get down to the Cinnamon Club for 7pm and show them some love!
Rounding up the year will be a special performance from our choir at Manchester Cathedral on 21st December; it’s set to be a really lovely occasion.
Unforgettably for some of our students, we’re also offering seasons greetings to the exam boards this December! Yes, on 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th and 20th, we’re hosting ABRSM, ICMA and Trinity examinations here at The Music Place. Feliz Navidad! Don’t forget to check out your exam times which have now been emailed out and are displayed in our waiting room.We’re wishing all of our candidates the best of luck! We’re certain they’ll do wonderfully.
